We have received numerous questions about our scents, and how they can be used. On these pages we will add Questions and our Answers as they come in. There are many, many ways to use fragrance oils - not just candle and soap making. If you have a Question, or maybe a new way to use our scents, please use the Ask A Question Link

There are many uses for our scenting oils besides candle and soap making. Before we get into those let us give you a word of caution in using our scenting oils, or anyone else's. Do Not use internally. Not For Human, or Animal consumption. Keep out of reach of children or those not able to understand the proper use of scenting oils. Do Not apply directly to skin, although we carry a supply of perfume scents, they are not to be used as perfume and may cause an allergic reaction when rubbed into the skin, or get into the eyes.Oils can stain fabrics and can damage wood, plastic, and painted surfaces. Some fragrances can be irritating to eyes and skin. Sensitivities vary from person to person.

  • Scent your greeting cards and paper.

You can add to the fun of sending Holiday, and All Occasion Greeting Cards to your friends and loved ones by Scenting them with our great smelling scents. Just put a little Scent on a Q -Tip and dab onto a corner of the card, let air dry a bit before sealing in the envelope. Then sit back and wait for the wonderful response when they receive them. You can also Scent your writing paper by dabbing a little scent in one corner of the paper. The paper may discolor a bit, but the scented letter someone will receive is worth it. If you like you can also scent your checks to brighten a Bill Collectors day. Sorry, we do not sell Skunk Scent!

  • Hi was wondering if I can I use a sent as cologne? is it safe on skin? Thank you, Mike...

Most of our fragrance oils are safe for use on the skin. EXCEPT Cinnamon fragrances. We recommend, however that you always test with a small amount on your arm before using. To make your own perfume or cologn: Cover your work area with a plastic sheet. Fragrance oils may damage surfaces. A good fragrance formula should consist of 75% dilutants - we recommend vodka, and 25% Fragrance oil. Glycerin is a good fixative which can be added to formulas to help retain its aroma.
