Ordering Policies
Thank you for your interest in Scent It Company.
Important ordering information is contained on this page. Please read it and understand it before placing an order. Please call with questions prior to ordering. By placing an order you agree to the following terms and conditions which are in effect to protect our company (Scent It ) and you the customer.
1. Shipping. Orders placed
on our site usually ship within 1-5 business days regardless of the shipment
method chosen. Choosing Expedited Service (UPS Next Day, UPS Second Day
or UPS 3rd Day Select) may reduce the amount of time your order spends
in transit, but please allow a minimum of 1-5 business days for order
shipment. Due to pre-holiday and Spring shipping seasons, on occasion
orders will run over 1-5 business days for shipment to occur.
2. Price Changes. Prices are
subject to change without notice. Prices listed within are for in stock
items. Prices listed for special items (monthly specials) are for a specific
time frame only and will not be extended. This time frame is preset at
the start of the sale . Back orders on sales priced items or specially
priced items are not accepted.
3. Tax. Tax unless collected at time
of the sale is the sole responsibility of the customer. Any export/import
or duty tax is the responsibility of the customer and is not pre-collected
by the company. Customer is responsible for all export/import and duty
fees, and should check with their customs officials before ordering to
estimate fees. We cannot reimburse or refund the customer, if they refuse
these fees.
4. Terms of Payment. Full payment, check, Money Order,Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card must accompany order. We will ship COD only to established customers . Note that check orders are held for five (5) business for the check to clear.NOTE:Effective 12/26/2007 Due to the number of Fraudulent Orders - Scent It will no loner accept payment by check.
5. Fraud Prevention. Scent It does everything in it's power to avoid fraudulent sales. IP addresses are recorded and kept on each sale to protect the customer and the company. Scent It has and will continue to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law any and all person who commit or try to commit fraud. Also be aware that Scent It reserves the right to ship only to the address the credit card being used is registered to.
Important Notice:
Due to the high rate of fraudulent orders we will not accept credit card orders from Yugoslavia, Nigeria, Romania, Pakistan and Indonesia. All orders from these countries must be paid for via International Money Order. You may mail orders to:

Your money order must clear our bank before we will ship. We will not accept International orders with Post Office ship to addresses. Your name and address must correspond to your credit card billing information in order for us to ship. Additional Duty and Custom fees are liability of the customer. We do not ship orders internationally where the bill to and ship to addresses are different or the name on the credit card differs. We can not ship orders without proper credit card approval authorization. We reserve the right to contact the issuing card holders bank for further verification.
6. Shipping and Handling Charges. All charges for shipping and handling are calculated by the computer at time of order. This amount is only correct if you have entered all the correct information. If entry errors have occurred we will correct the shipping charges for the order and bill or charge the order in accordance with method of payment used.
7. Returned Checks. Any checks returned unpaid by your bank for any reason will be assessed a handling fee of $25.00 PLEASE MAKE NOTE: Scent It Company WILL file charges for returned unpaid checks that are not paid within 7 days or being returned including the $25.00 fee. Please keep in mind it is a Federal offense to obtain goods by fraudulent means (worthless check) across state lines including by wire (internet).

If mailing your order in please make sure proper shipping and handling
fees have been added. Not sure, to avoid delay in order call ahead.
9. Return Policy. Due
to quality control reasons the following is the firm policy of Scent
It Company.
9a. All product that is bottled in 1 lb bottles or less are repackaged for smaller consumer sale and all sales are FINAL and can not be returned. The reason for this is the growing concern of product tampering.
9b. Product sold in sealed cans of 5 lbs or more may only be returned in a sealed unopened condition and within 7 days from the ship date. No exceptions.
10. Exchanges. For the same reason as returns exchanges are not allowed once shipped. This is due to the growing concern of product tampering. We have decided it is not worth the risk to other customers and thus will refuse any packages sent back that do not have authorization.
11. Damages . If your product arrives to you damaged. You must save the damaged package and goods so they may be inspected by the shipping company. Also, notify us and we will assist in getting the claim for shipping filed. Shipping Insurance is offered on all orders.If you elect to NOT take insurance our liability ends after we prove package was shipped. Tracking numbers are provided as proof. Shipping Insurance is voluntary, but highly recommended.
12. REPRESENTATION and WARRANTY: Seller warrants its materials delivered hereunder to conform to specifications and descriptions as may be agreed in writing to be applicable, and to be free from defect in material and workmanship. The responsibility of seller is limited to replacing , repairing or refunding the item or items that do not conform to the above at the sellers option.Use by means other than the intended use of the product is not recommended and at the sole risk of the customer. SCENTING OILS ARE NOT FOR USE IN FOOD OR DRINK AND NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION..
